Medieval treasures in Annaberg

500 year old books, certificates indicating ownership in previous times and other findings allowing insights to the medieval history of the Ore Mountains were visited by the partners of the Archiv-Net project on 17 September 2019 in Annaberg-Buchholz. In a binational workshop, the project partners and associated stakeholders visited the city archive, the Adam Ries Museum and the Museum of the Ore Mountains and discussed how researchers can use the archives and collections. The results of ten such workshops will be published later in a guideline summarising how archives and collections holding historical findings of the Ore Mountains can be explored for research.
