Kick-off for 1000 Years Upper Lusatia

On 25.10.2019 the first partners meeting of the project 1000 years of Upper Lusatia – people, towns and cities took place. The project involves six partners, three on the Polish side and three on the German side. During that meeting, the individual activities planned in the project were discussed. The project partners also signed a partnership agreement. The main aim of this cross-border project is to remind the cultural heritage of Upper Lusatia on both sides of the Nisa River. Thanks to the historical monuments and archaeological findings, the project will present the different historical periods and in the last phase of the project, thematic exhibitions will be created and presented.
