Institional cooperation Saxony-Czechia: Archeological heritage in forests

The State Office for Archeology of Saxony tasked core-consult with the elaboration of a project that brings together archeology, forest management, forestry sciences and the actors of the UNESCO World Heritage region of the Ore Mountains to network and exchange how hidden archeological heritage sites in forests can be protected. The project was elaborated during 2025 and selected for funding in spring 2026.
