Annaberg’s treasures

Books as old as 500 years, certificates about ownership from medieval times and other artefacts from former mining sites of the central Ore Mountains were among the treasures visited by the Archiv-Net project team on 17 September 2019 in Annaberg-Buchholz. During a site visit the project partners and additional stakeholders from Saxony and the Czech Republic have visited the city archive, the Adam Ries museum and the Museum of the Ore Mountains and participated in discussion with the local responsible people. Within the Archiv-Net project ten such site visits are foreseen in the preparation of a guideline for researchers of the Ore Mountain’s history.
