Presentation of Burgenland district‘s pilot action
The concept of the ARRIVAL REGIONS pilot action to be implemented in the Burgenland district in Central Germany was presented and discussed with participating stakeholders representing local associations and educational institutions on 10 June 2020 in Naumburg. The concept is based on a good practice from Sweden and consists of the organization of weekend camp-stays for young people, both migrants and native population, to get to know and experience local culture and tradition. The pilot action will be implemented by the District authority’s Migration agency and realized together with a number of local actors. Camp participants will be empowered as team leaders responsible for the preparation of the next event.
