Screening tool for industrial symbiosis launched

Within the GreenIndustrialAreas project, a new digital screening tool has been launched to support public authorities and companies in assessing industrial areas with regard to climate neutrality. It enables a structured analysis of energy potential, infrastructure, and cooperation opportunities, complementing the project’s transnational certification approach. The tool provides decision-makers with a practical instrument for planning sustainable and energy-efficient industrial sites. It builds on the project’s standards and toolbox and supports their wider uptake across the Baltic Sea Region.
