Rails, switches and current activities discussed in Kraków

The Rail4Regions consortium met on May 13th and 14th, 2025, in Kraków (PL) to discuss the current activities and outcomes of the project. Those include a Rail Hub Finder as an interactive map that allows to identify rail freight loading points and their accessibility, which is elaborated by the Thuringian Lead partner of the project. While data from Thuringia has already been integrated, information from other European regions is added in the next few months. Highlight of the two-day programme in Poland was a visit to company that produces rails and switches for railways and tramways.
