Challenges and needs of integration

The first of three Thematic Seminars of the MILEstone project took place on November 28th, 2023. The hybrid event focussed on challenges in the management of migration and labour market integration of non-EU residents. Participants from different European countries shared their solutions and good practices. In his keynote, Dr. Peter Mehl of the Thünen Institute highlighted the relations between demographic change and migration as well as the specific challenges of integration in rural areas. On the following day, partners of MILEstone met for a partner workshop.
