Young firefighters from Germany and Poland meet for a Youth Fire Brigade Camp

On 27 and 28 June 2026, a cross-border youth fire brigade camp was held as part of the Interreg project “Eco-Energy in Action”, bringing together young firefighters from Germany and Poland. The programme focused on professional exchange and on providing the participants with knowledge about the tasks and responsibilities of the fire service, first aid, and appropriate behaviour in emergency situations. The young participants also took part in a fire service knowledge quiz, with the winners being honoured during a ceremonial award presentation in the evening. The programme was complemented by joint activities that strengthened cross-border exchange and cooperation among the young members of the fire brigades.
