Workshop and Study Visits in Normandy

On 10–11 June 2026, core-consult participated in the third thematic workshop of the Interreg Europe project Green LUPO in Rouen, France. Under the theme “Transformation Instead of Demolition”, project partners and experts from across Europe explored innovative approaches to the reuse and regeneration of previously developed land.

The programme featured expert presentations on land recycling, sustainable urban development, and strategies to reduce land take. Participants also joined study visits to the Rouen Flaubert District and Auguste Badin Park in Barentin, two inspiring examples of how former industrial and brownfield sites can be transformed into vibrant, climate-resilient spaces.

The workshop provided valuable insights for future project activities and fostered the exchange of good practices on sustainable land use across Europe.
