Interreg Saxony-Czechia project approval
Among the first projects approved for funding from the new Interreg programme for cross-border cooperation between Saxony and the Czech Republic is “ArchaeoTin”, which had been elaborated with support of core-consult. The Saxon State Office for Archaeology as Lead partner and six other institutions from Germany and the Czech Republic will collaborate in the next three years in researching the beginning and development of tin mining in the Ore Mountains. The results will be shown in an exhibition and will be used in the communication of UNESCO World Heritage sites of the mountain range.
