Info centre opens doors in Krupka

After two years of construction the new Info Centre of the Mining Landscape of Krupka opened its doors on 14 March 2018. The info centre is hosted in a historic building which was refurbished within the „ArchaeoMontan 2018“ project. The building now hosts spaces for exhibitions and events as well as the town’s tourist information. One can also learn more about the application process to recognise the historical mining landscapes of the Ore Mountains as UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. On the opening day Krupka also hosted an expert workshop focussing on the dissemination of cultural heritage. The „Virtual Arch“ project, also managed by core-consult, was among the good practice presentations shown.
