Expert Workshop on Challenges in Responding to Fires Involving Electric Vehicles

On 2 December, the fifth expert workshop of the project “Eco-Energy in Action” took place at the premises of the Löbau Volunteer Fire Brigade. The participants – senior officers from fire brigades in Poland and Germany – received professional insights into possible response scenarios involving accidents with vehicles powered by alternative drive systems, in particular electric vehicles. This was followed by an exchange of experiences among the participants regarding their previous firefighting and rescue operations involving electric vehicles in their respective countries.
