Borderless Trails’ Preopening

The first MTB trails on the German-Czech border between the towns of Sebnitz, Neustadt in Sachsen and Dolní Poustevna have opened last weekend. The official preopening ceremony of the “Borderless Trails” took place on June 12th, 2026, in presence of Saxony’s Minister for Tourism, Barbara Klepsch. Despite steady rain, the event attracted about 100 participants, some of which accompanied the towns’ mayors for an opening drive. Construction of the trail network will continue in the next weeks with more and more sections being opened for mountain biking. The full trail network will officially open in April 2027.
